Brittany is Co-Founder & Creative Director of the Captive Money Lab.

When the pandemic started, Brittany and her team of faculty and graduate students immediately worked with legal advocates to track how people were experiencing the pandemic behind bars in real time. This research unearthed the deadly consequences of state neglect and indifference to the realities of surviving Covid-19 in prison in the Tri-State area.

Brittany is a writer and producer for art, film, and broadcast productions both freelance and as co-founder of Leo Storytelling. She grounds creative work in social science research through methods such as interviewing and archival work. Brittany teaches that at the heart of every narrative are compelling social facts that have the power to resonate with everyone.
